PROVISION

Today was a wonderful Father's day. The kids were able to spoil their awesome Daddy, & Brian and I were also able to celebrate the incredible, Godly fathers we each have been given.

This morning at church was a very special time for us as well. Our family was prayed over and loved on by our church family. An emotional time really - so many faces that have spoken words of faith and encouragement over the years, so many generous hearts that have given financially and of their time. We are so blessed. Our time ended with some very generous donations that answered a very specific financial prayer as we prepare to leave. We are in awe and very humbled at the prompting of the Holy Spirit, the obedience of fellow believers to His leading, and the provision lavishly poured over our family at this exciting time. THANK YOU!

"May He give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
We will shout for joy when you are
victorious and will lift up our banners in the Name of our God.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the Name of the
LORD our God."
Psalm 20: 4-5, 7

  1. Thank you Jesus!! He is awesome beyond words. Your entire adoption has His fingerprints all over it. What a blessing.

  2. Rachel, it is so thrilling to watch God work this miracle in your family! I've said it before and I'll say it over and over: God has had His hand in every minute detail of this adoption. I believe that He orchestrated our two families' meeting and friendship. It was all part of his Divine purpose. Maybe He was even behind all of us choosing the name Quinn. Who knows? He chose your family for Gracie. Never doubt that - she is part of your family because God put her there.

Only one more day until you leave! We will be watching your blog every single day for updates, so don't keep us in suspense. We love you guys and will be praying for you daily. Soak in every moment of your China journey and remember the smallest details because you will be the keeper of Gracie's China memories. When you get back home we'll talk about lifebooks. I haven't started Quinn's but maybe it's something we can do together.

The entire Adam family sends you our love. I would say "God be with you" but I know He already is. :-) Have a wonderful trip!
