Jesus. That is the first word to be spoken in little Gracie's ear, and that is the word that must begin the first sentence of this new blog. We want Him to have every ounce of glory in this whole process! Thank you for joining our family on this incredible journey that began in our hearts at the end of 2005. I look forward to sharing all of our God-sized stories here!

  2. Rachel Faye...I am speechless. All I can say is that Gracie is so beautiful and that I am beyond thrilled for you guys! I wonder if she has any idea what a great family she's about to get and what a crazy, fun, loving, sweet mom she's about to get? I can't tell you how many times I have thought about you recently and have been waiting for "that" email to show up in my inbox. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to follow the rest of Gracie's story and I cannot wait until I see pictures of your entire family FINALLY together! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  3. Congratulations Woodard Family! I am wiping tears as I type. I saw Brian at the hospital when we were visiting the Walkers and he told me your news and I saw the sweet pictures. She is beautiful. I am so blessed that our hearts have crossed paths in our journey's of adoption. The wait is so hard but oh how so rewarding. This little girl has no clue about the life she is going to have as being a Woodard. Again congrats. She is such a precious little girl. We are praying that God would continue to provide each step of the way for you all the needs and that the wait would not be much longer till she is home. Congrats Congrats Congrats!

  5. Rachel!!!! I had no idea you and Brian were looking to adopt. I just saw the news on Jennifer's blog. This is just WONDERFUL! I still have a hard time believing that you and Jennifer are actually old enough to have children of your own. My best memories of you are from years ago when you and Jennifer were 8 yr. old buddies giggling and playing with your dolls. I'm so glad Jennifer put this on her blog - now I can follow Gracie's journey home to you! Love, Shari Dunn Krueger

  6. Dear Sweet Rachael, What a beautiful little girl you are bringing into your home. She is so blessed as well as your entire family. The memories of you and your family are some of the best memories I have of living in South Carolina. God bless you in your new adventure. I know you will be the best mom ever. Now...how much Chinese do you know? There is always something new out there to learn, isn't there? I love you.
